How to Change Alexa’s Name

You may have noticed that you can’t change Alexa’s name. There’s a problem with that. In addition to being a female, her voice is also overwhelmingly female. In order to switch to a male voice, you will need to open the Hal 9000 skill and change its wake word. But if you want to make it sound more like you, there are some other ways you can do it.
One way to change the name of your Amazon Echo is to download the Alexa app and install it on your smartphone. The app will open and you will see a list of devices that you can connect to your Alexa. From here, choose the device you want to change the name of and press “wake word.”
You may also wish to change Alexa’s wake word. This is an easy way to prevent this problem from recurring. Just be careful not to use too creative wake words, like “Hal”. The process involves changing the settings of your device on the app and voice commands. If you have more than one Alexa device, you will need to change the name on each device separately. You will have to do this once for each device.
Another way to change Alexa’s name is to rename it in your voice. Its name is similar to the library of Alexandria in Star Trek. However, it has a hard consonant X, making it easier for people to recognize it. Another option is to change Alexa’s name to Hal. While the library of Alexandria name is the most popular, it’s not always the most unique choice.
